These Terms of Service govern your use of Givo ("the Service"), operated by Givo Inc. By creating an account or using Givo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Givo does

Givo is an automatic giving platform that connects to your bank account and transfers a user-defined percentage of incoming deposits to a designated destination account. Givo uses Teller.io for bank connectivity and Stripe for payment processing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Givo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Bank connections and transfers

By connecting your bank account to Givo, you authorize us to:

• Monitor your connected account for incoming deposits via Teller.io
• Initiate ACH transfers from your source account to your destination account based on your configured rules
• Store your giving rules and transfer history

You are solely responsible for ensuring your destination account information is correct. Givo is not liable for transfers sent to incorrect accounts due to user error.

5. Transfer timing

ACH transfers typically take 1–3 business days to complete. Givo does not guarantee specific transfer timing and is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.

6. Fees

Givo's free plan is provided at no charge. Givo may charge a small percentage fee on transfers on paid plans. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before they are charged. We will notify you in advance of any changes to our fee structure.

7. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use Givo to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities
• Transfer funds for illegal purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

8. Limitation of liability

Givo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Givo Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost funds, missed transfers, or data loss.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Givo shall not exceed the amount you paid to Givo in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your Givo account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Upon termination, your bank connections will be disconnected and no further transfers will be initiated. Your transaction history will be retained for 30 days before deletion.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Givo after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
