• Bank account information through our secure banking partner, Teller.io
• Your giving rules and preferences (percentage, trigger type, destination account)
• Transaction history of automatic transfers made through Givo

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Givo service
• Monitor your connected bank account for qualifying deposits
• Execute automatic giving transfers according to your rules
• Send you notifications about transfers and account activity
• Improve and develop new features for Givo
• Comply with legal obligations

Banking data and security

Givo connects to your bank account through Teller.io, a regulated financial data provider. We never store your bank login credentials on our servers. All banking connections use bank-level 256-bit AES encryption.

Teller.io's access to your bank account is read-only for monitoring purposes. Transfer initiation is handled through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only with:

• Teller.io — to connect and monitor your bank account
• Stripe — to process ACH transfers
• Supabase — to store your account data securely
• Law enforcement or government authorities when required by law

Data retention

We retain your account information and transaction history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Disconnect your bank account at any time
• Opt out of non-essential communications

Cookies

Givo uses minimal cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Givo is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through the Givo app. Your continued use of Givo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
